Fishing season is just around the corner!
It is finally beginning to warm up outside and I personally cannot wait to get out on the water this year because I think it is going to be a wonderful year for fishing. I have spent this winter cooped up inside just waiting for the ice to melt and the water temperature to rise so I can throw a line in for those hungry fish. Also, I have picked up a few new lures I would like to try out this year (will let you know if they are successful).
Now is the time to stock up on all your fishing tackle equipment needs!
Here are some links to some of the lures I think will work well in the next few months while it is still a little bit chilly outside.

My Favorite Fishing Tackle Equipment - Rapala Original Floating Minnow
Do you love to here that whap! on the water when a big bass comes up and hits your top water lure like a monster?
This is my favorite sound to hear when I’m fishing. I love to use top water lures in the early fishing season. Nothing gets your adrenaline pumping like a hard top water hit from a giant bass!
I have tried many different top water lures from the hula popper to the bumble bug, but nothing seems to work as good as the Rapala Original Floating Minnow. I have used this lure time and time again since I was a little kid. This lure has never failed me. When the fish just are not biting very good I throw on the floating minnow and almost by magic I start to get some bites.
If you want that perfect lure that you have been looking for to use in almost any weather or any time of day then look no further! The Rapala Floating Minnow is the lure for you! Click here to get yours today!

Here is an excellent story on fishing tackle equipment for the year-round fishermen…
I found this story on WREX news site.
Roger Alfors is a veteran ice fisherman who has been in the sport for nearly 20 years. He thinks this is an excellent choice for fisherman who do not get enough fishing done during the warm months.
What’s his secret?
“I’ve got some lures that are made in Sweden,” he says. “They’re called fiskas.” They are excellent for catching panfish during the winter months.
If you are interested in getting into ice fishing make sure you get the essential fishing tackle equipment.
Eric Hallin, a fishing expert at sporting goods store Gander Mountain, says you can get your start in ice fishing at a fairly low price. “For just your basic rod-reel combo, a few jigs, it’s about 50 dollars to start out with, which is not really that expensive,” he says. I know I have spent much much more than 50 dollars on fishing tackle equipment for merely a weekend trip in my experience. Therefore, 50 dollars is a very affordable price to start this hobby.
If you’ve never ice fished before, there’s still plenty of time on the calendar. Experts say you can usually ice fish on Pierce Lake until the second or third week in March. So get your ice fishing tackle equipment and get out there before it is too late!
